In our Geography and Environmental Science classes we have been learning about overpopulation. It seems that the popular trend is that more and more people are moving to cities and surrounding areas and are having less children, which is great for slowing overpopulation but the move brings up another problem. People who live in cities and surrounding areas consume much more than those who live in rural areas.
Addressing this issue in my senior project is a huge possibility. My senior project could even become a proposal for what cities and suburbs should strive to become in order to lessen it's impact on the environment.
Where do you see yourself going as a result of this rethinking?
ReplyDeleteCopeland I think that you have a good idea here but a very big one like cesar's. What you could do is start from a small scale stand point. find some way to work your way up into building this metropolis you want. Start off with building something smaller, maybe soomething here at the school. Seniors need a lounge area, give your ideas for tha =t and you want it to look.
